Our Story
10 Years of Business, Generations of Craftsmanship
Vanessa Gallant joined the business in 2011, after making the transition from practicing law in Nova Scotia. The skills and experience she developed through her education at UNB Law and time as an Associate at Cox & Palmer completely revolutionized the way we view and deliver customer service. Her professional knowledge shapes our corporate structure and culture, providing our staff, sub-trades and clients with an invaluable resource.
Continued education and constant improvement are the cornerstones of our commitment to quality and service. Staying up to date with the latest advances in building science, materials, technology and installation practices ensures that we are always providing our clients with the very best products and services. We are absolutely dedicated to delivering the highest quality building or remodeling experience possible.
When our owner, Sean Ryan, started working in the building trades, he was given an incredible opportunity to learn how to plan, manage and build on a scale most builders rarely get so early in their careers (if ever). Sean's grandfather Peter Ryan was (and in many ways still is) a carpenter with over 50 years experience; building everything from small decorative wood works to full custom homes.
Sean worked under his grandfather to help build Peter and Diana Dakers-Ryan's beautiful 6,000 sqr.ft. home just outside the Village of Manotick. This one-on-one apprenticeship under a Master Craftsman is virtually unparalleled in our modern age, with the knowledge and experience gleaned from long hours on the jobsite forming a foundation of skills that underpin our company to this day.
